Core Decks

Mythgard has made the bold decision to make it's Core set available for free. Factions can be completely unlocked through a series of codes to be shared starting February 16th by gaming media. While I am sure people will share these on reddit/discord, I encourage people to actually engage with the original content. More traffic means a greater chance for more content.

Below I have put together 15 decks containing only Core cards spanning archetypes, paths, colours, and playstyles. This is definitely not an exhaustive list of the potential of the Core set, but it should give players a good foundation. New players should be able to pick up these decks and be confident in their construction while they learn the game. Skilled CCG veterans should be able to pilot these decks up the ladder (most are Champion viable), while tweaking them with expansion cards as they build out their collection.

For those new to the game, be sure to check out my other articles on deckbuilding and strategy. Mythgard is a deep and complex and the subtleties of the deckbuilding and lane system can take some time to master, so why not jumpstart the process?

These decks can all be imported directly into the client. Copy the entire text of the deck, open the Mythgard client, create a new deck, click Import, and you are good to go!
